Chiswick
Full House Renovation
A whole house in Chiswick taken back to its structure and rebuilt over ten months, from the first strip-out to the final coat of paint. We replaced the roof, built a new extension and converted the loft, then reworked the internal layout around the way the family actually lives. New plumbing, heating and a complete electrical installation went in alongside underfloor heating, insulation, plastering and bespoke joinery, with a new kitchen and a fully refurbished bathroom. Keeping the house weatherproof and structurally protected while the roof, extension and loft were all open at once was the real work, and it is why the finished property reads as one considered home rather than a series of additions.

How it was done
The full transformation, stage by stage
Every photo below is from this job, in the order the work happened. Tap any one to see it full size.
Stage 1: The brief
The customer wanted the whole property renovated and modernised into a high-quality family home: a better internal layout, more living space from an extension and a loft conversion, a new roof, and the kitchen, bathroom, heating, plumbing, electrics and finishes all replaced.
Stage 2: Roof, structure and loft
After the strip-out and structural alterations, the roof was replaced in full while the extension and loft conversion were built, with the house kept weatherproof and structurally protected throughout.
The new roof: breather membrane and battens over the hip Steel frame and new rafters going up at dusk Loft floor joists going in above the party wall Stage 3: Insulation, services and plaster
New insulation, complete plumbing and heating, underfloor heating and a full electrical installation went in before the walls and ceilings were boarded and plastered.
Insulation fitted between the new rafters A room plastered out under the new rooflight Stage 4: The finished home
New kitchen, fully refurbished bathroom, internal doors, bespoke joinery, flooring throughout, painting and decorating inside and out, then testing, snagging and clearance. The finished property reads as one considered home rather than a series of additions.

The part you don't see
Everything open at once
Roof replacement, extension, loft conversion, bathroom, structural alterations and a complete services upgrade all ran inside one programme. The property had to stay structurally protected and weatherproof while large areas were open and being rebuilt. Kitchen, bathroom, underfloor heating, plumbing and electrics were coordinated with the new layouts and floor build-ups, and the trades were sequenced across ten months so that structure, roofing, first fix, waterproofing, plastering, joinery, tiling and finishes each landed in the right order.
